Saving a little one

This little one fell out of its nest, high up in the eaves of the house. It was obviously calling for help and other nearby birds called back and looked on as we made it our mission to get the little one back home. This little baby was so cute and seemed to feel safe in Mark’s hands.

Mark found a very old and extremely heavy set of ladders in the garage that would reach the rafters. On the way up, a couple of the rungs snapped which made me very nervous, to say the least.  My job was to hold the ladders steady, I couldn’t look up as I really don’t like heights. Anyway, within a few minutes the little one was safely back home. Mark, on the other hand had a bad back for three days!
